O-Shot-Caw National Honor Ceremonies Team at NOAC 2024
This past year, the O-Shot-Caw Ceremonies Team had the incredible opportunity to compete at the National Order of the Arrow Conference in Boulder, Colorado. Through dedication and hard work, our team earned the prestigious distinction of being named a National Honor Ceremonies Team in both the Pre-Ordeal and Brotherhood ceremonies.
In addition, the team also competed at the 2025 Section E-5 Conference held at the Price-Sanders Scout Reservation. After countless hours of practice, we proudly brought home Honors distinction in the Pre-Ordeal ceremony and secured first place in the Pre-Ordeal and Brotherhood ceremonies. Additionally, our Vigil ceremonialist took 2nd place.
The Ceremonies Team is one of the three specialty teams in the O-Shot-Caw Lodge, dedicated to performing meaningful ceremonies throughout the year. We also serve as the storytellers of the lodge, bringing to life the values and traditions of the Order of the Arrow. Our mission is to guide new members through the induction process, remind our brothers of the core virtues of the Order, and strengthen the bonds of Brotherhood within the lodge. No prior experience is required to join — and if you’re not quite comfortable in the spotlight, there’s still a place for you! We welcome those who want to contribute behind the scenes to help us with setup, rehearsals, and more.
