Totika Fuswa Chapter March 2021 Newsletter

Dear Friends of Scouting and Order of the Arrow,

Although this year has been full of uncertainty, I am proud to say that the Totika Fuswa Chapter is stronger than ever. During this past year, our chapter inducted nine ordeal members and three brotherhood members.  We conducted our crossover ceremony for the Phoenix District Cuboree and are pleased to have spirited and enthusiastic scouts joining our ranks. Our Chapter’s members were present at Fall and Winter Ordeal, including a strong showing at the recent Lodge Banquet. We are currently preparing for Section Conference and looking foward to the upcoming events and continued fellowship.

Our Chapter volunteered for the ceremonies ring project with our very own Chapter Advisor, Andre “Poncho” Perez, heading the construction of the ring. During this endeavor, many of our own Chapter members volunteered countless hours and hard work towards the completion and success of this project.

The Totika Fuswa Chapter takes great pride in our cooking and we were honored to serve as this year’s cook team for Lodge Banquet 2021. Our Chapter took home the Tom Tatham Spirit Award and many of our members received awards and honors during the banquet ceremony. These accolades included two exceptional first year Arrowmen, a Hal Hollis Outstanding Arrowman Award recipient, three Meritorious Service Award recipients, and  three Vigil Honor members. Amazing! I am proud and honored to serve alongside my brothers and look forward to a future of possibilities and success for our Chapter.

Yours in Brotherhood,

Kaden O.
